The story
behind the creation

Hospitality is not our business. It is our nature.

Kamalini Kutir was born out of a simple passion held by Archana and Viraj Takalkar: to create a space where guests don’t just stay, but belong. We never set out to build a resort. Through this transformation, the Kanindi River flowed quietly beside us, a silent witness to a barren plot turning into a thriving ecosystem of hospitality.

A Living Tradition.

Today, the saplings we planted are a forest. But the soul of Kamalini Kutir remains exactly where it started—rooted in simplicity, nature, and the joy of serving others
